ClearMotive — Junk Cleaner helps you make informed decisions about local storage. This policy explains the information that may be accessed when you review cache, screenshots, large files, installed apps, or network usage.
Information The App May Access
When a selected feature runs, the App may read local metadata such as file names, folder paths, sizes, extensions, modified dates, screenshot thumbnails, cache-related signals, large-file indicators, installed app labels, app storage details, and basic network-usage values.
The App may also process limited technical information such as device model, Android version, app version, language, approximate region, crash logs, diagnostic events, scan status, and feature interactions to maintain stability and compatibility.
Permission Use
Storage or All Files Access helps locate local cleanup candidates. App-related access supports app lists and storage details. Network-related access supports the usage summary shown in the App. Foreground service access may keep an active scan or confirmed cleanup visible. Denying a permission may limit the related feature.
Review Before Action
ClearMotive is designed around comparison. It may group cache items, screenshots, large files, and app storage details for review, but it does not decide what should be deleted. You control which items remain, which are skipped, and which user-confirmed Android action is taken.
Analytics, Ads, And Diagnostics
Limited technical data may be processed for crash reporting, diagnostics, advertising, app distribution, security, or support when those services are included. Providers may handle identifiers, app version, device information, approximate region, and interaction events under their own policies. Normal cleanup review does not require uploading your private files.
Sharing And Disclosure
We do not sell your screenshots, videos, documents, app lists, or local files. Limited technical information may be shared with service providers or disclosed when required by law, valid legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, user protection, or platform integrity.
Retention And Security
Scan results, preferences, dismissed items, or cleanup history may stay locally for a limited period. Diagnostic records may be retained only as reasonably needed for stability, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or service improvement. We use reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access, but complete security cannot be guaranteed.
Children And Responsible Use
The App is not directed to children under the minimum age required by local law. Use ClearMotive only on devices and files you are authorized to manage. Do not inspect or remove another person's content without permission.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy when features, Android permissions, legal requirements, analytics services, or platform rules change. The updated version applies after it is made available in the App, store listing, or related policy page.
